Becky Lynch vs. Natalya
Smackdown Women’s Champion Naomi came out to join commentary for this match. Becky started out in control with quick offense, but Natalya quickly took it over after taking a cheap shot in the ropes. After a commercial break the #1 contender was still working over her opponent with an abdominal stretch, taking shots to the back. Becky broke free and hit an big exploder suplex then rolled into the Disarmher, but had to settle for a step-up enzuigiri. She climbed the ropes but came up empty on a leg drop and Natalya pulled her to the center of the ring and slapped on the Sharpshooter to pick up the win.
Winner: Natalya
After the bout Natalya continued her assault and locked Becky back into the Sharphooter. Naomi left commentary and went after her, but the challenger was able to roll to safety. As the two talked trash to each other, Carmella and James Ellsworth made their way out to the ramp. Naomi stood tall in the ring and told her to bring it, but they had other plans. Carmella introduced everyone, just in case we didn’t already know who the champion was, and that she had the Money in the Bank briefcase. She wished both of them the best of luck at SummerSlam, and Ellsworth said it didn’t matter because whoever wins, ends up losing when Carmella cashes in.
