Naomi recently spoke with Bleacher Report ahead of this weekend’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view; you can read a few highlights below:
Naomi comments on being a part of the historic Women’s Royal Rumble match:
“I get to be a part of history. I get to be a part of the first, to be in the ring with so many awesome women—women I’ve admired.”
Naomi comments on potential surprise names that might show up in the match, her experience in past battle royal matches:
“I was in there with women I’ve worked with a million times before, women I know.”
“You can’t prepare for the unexpected or the unknown. I just have to watch my back and be on my A-game.”
Naomi says she wants another shot at Charlotte Flair if she wins the Women’s Rumble:
“I never got to face Charlotte how I wanted to. I feel like I haven’t even touched the tip of the iceberg with Charlotte.”
Naomi says she and husband Jimmy Uso have the Mixed Match Challenge locked up:
“I think we have this competition in the bag. No one has the chemistry John and I [do]. We’ve been doing this now together for eight years. Side by side, week in and week out. We know what each other is thinking without saying it.”
