Backstage, The Miz says Roman Reigns thinks he is owed a rematch for the Intercontinental. Miz does not agree.
Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) w/Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel vs Roman Reigns
Reigns blast Miz with a right hand. Reigns beats Miz from corner to corner. Miz is already out of it Reigns yells at Dallas and Axel to stay out if his way. Miz manages to boot Reigns in the chest. Miz chops Reigns. Reigns looks at Miz as if he is a small child throwing balled up pieces of paper at him. Reigns decks Miz again. Reigns clotheslines Miz over the top rope. Reigns drives Miz shoulder-first into the ring steps. Reigns tosses Miz back into the ring. Reigns clotheslines Miz over the top rope on the other side of the ring. Reigns grabs a chair and chases off Dallas and Axel. Dallas and Axel run to the back. Reigns is about to hit Miz with the chair. The referee warns Reigns. Miz sends Reigns face-first into the ring post.
After the break, Miz has Reigns trapped in a rear chin lock. Reigns gets to his feet and lifts Miz for a Samoan drop. Miz escapes and almost hit the Skull Crushing Finale but Reigns reverses it into a Samoan Drop. Miz and Reigns trade punches. Miz tries to clothesline Reigns but Reigns traps his arm. Reigns destroys Miz with a clothesline. Multiple corner clotheslines by Reigns. Reigns hits a big boot and calls for the Superman Punch. As Reigns dives at Miz, Miz chop blocks him in midair. It kicks by Miz. Miz goes for a knockout blow but Reigns lifts Miz up for a powerbomb. Miz reverses that into a figure four. Reigns reverses the hold. Miz gets to the ropes.
Miz tries to lock in a figure four again but Reigns rolls Miz up into a deadlift powerbomb for a near fall. Miz tries to remove the middle turnbuckle pad. The referee stops him. Reigns tries to yank Miz away. As the referee has his back turned Miz pokes Reigns in the eye and hits the Skull Crushing Finale. Reigns kicks out. Reigns hits the Superman Punch. Miz kicks out. Dallas and Axel come back to ringside. Dallas pulls Miz out of the ring. Reigns clotheslines Axel off the apron. Dallas gets on the apron Reigns tosses Dallas into the ring. Reigns Superman Punches Axel and Spears Dallas. Miz rolls up Reigns for the win!
