Bobby Roode will defend his United States Championship against Rusev after he won a Fatal 4 Way match on tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live.
Rusev defeated Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder and Jinder Mahal in tonight’s opening match by making Kofi tap to the Accolade; the title match is now set for next week’s episode of Smackdown Live.

On a related note, Daniel Bryan announced another number one contender’s match will take place next week, and it will feature Sami Zayn versus Kevin Owens.
The best friends will be pitted against each other after they complained to Bryan about not getting a fair shot at the WWE title, saying they deserved another shot. Bryan said the winner of the match next week would face AJ Styles at Fastlane, then told the pair they would face each other.
