WWE Mixed Match Challenge

Bobby Roode & Charlotte Flair  vs Apollo & Nia Jax

Charlotte and Roode have a strut-off in the corner, and both teams talk a lot of trash to each other. Roode takes down Apollo and taunts him, then they tie up and Apollo gets dropped with a shoulder block. Apollo comes right back with an armdrag, then they tie up in the corner and Roode throws a couple of chops. After a bit of struggle with Apollo, Charlotte calls for the tag and she and Nia trade shots before Nia gets into it a bit with Titus Worldwide.

Charlotte ends up sending her outside after Dana Brooke gets involved, then when Nia gets back in Charlotte blocks a suplex and throws a shoulder block through the ropes. Nia fights back but she ends up screaming at Dana to get out of her way again, then Charlotte chop blocks her knee and puts her in a Figure Four. They play up Charlotte not being able to bridge up into the Figure Eight as the referee counts Nia’s shoulders down, but she kicks out and breaks the hold before making the tag. Roode hits Apollo with a quick strike and a neckbreaker off the tag, then he heads up top and connects with a dive before calling for the Glorious DDT.

Second Round Matches Set For WWE Mixed Match Challenge

Apollo blocks it and slams Roode down, then he counters a spinebuster with a sunset flip, only to have Roode come right back with a spinebuster for two. Nia runs in and breaks the pin up, then Charlotte and Nia fight on the turnbuckles, but Charlotte slams Nia down and hits a top rope moonsault as Roode connects with a Glorious DDT for the win.

Winners – Bobby Roode & Charlotte Flair

Following the match, Roode and Flair cut a promo, then Nia took a mic and ran down Titus and Dana for constantly interfering. She ripped then for ruining their training and strategy, then attacked both of them before leaving.
