William Regal just officially confirmed NXT will bring back the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Regal was set to make a major announcement, and he confirmed the tournament would return for a third time, kicking off in two weeks. He announced that the winners would not only win the Dusty Cup, but they would earn a NXT Tag Team Championship match at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic returns after a one year layoff; the tournament started in 2015 with Finn Balor and Samoa Joe winning the inaugural tournament. The Authors Of Pain won the second tournament back in 2016.
