PWInsider.com is reporting Brock Lesnar’s absence on RAW last night was a late change, as early drafts in last night’s script originally called for a lengthy segment with Roman Reigns.
According to the report, the segment was written in for the second hour of RAW, and it would have seen Lesnar call Reigns a ‘bitch’. Several sources noted neither Brock nor Paul Heyman were spotted at any point backstage in Anaheim, but it’s not unusual to not see Brock as he always has a private dressing room. It was noted that Heyman’s absence might be more of note, as he is usually very social with other talents, but it doesn’t look like either one was at the venue.
Several theories are being speculated on by PWInsider regarding Lesnar’s absence, including:
- Brock chose not to attend RAW as part of a negotiating tactic
- Brock was told not to attend after the Dana White posted a photo of the two of them
- Worked storyline attempting to get Roman Reigns over with the fans
F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer echoed the same comments about it possibly being a worked angle to benefit Reigns, and also noted the photo of Lesnar and Reigns was new and taken in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
