New Japan Best of Super Juniors Participants Announced, Three Wrestlers Set For BOSJ Debut

KUSHIDA- Entering his ninth Best of Super Juniors, KUSHIDA is looking to tie Koji Kanemoto & Jushin “Thunder” Liger’s record of 3 BoSJ wins. He won last year’s tournament.

Chris Sabin- Ring of Honor’s Chris Sabin is making his Best of Super Juniors debut.

Marty Scurll- Entering his second Best of Super Juniors tournament, Ring of Honor’s Marty Scurll went 4-3 in last year’s tournament.

El Desperado- The second-half of the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, El Desperado is entering his third Best of Super Juniors tournament. Desperado wen 3-4 in last year’s tournament.

Hiromu Takahashi- Entering his fourth Best of Super Juniors tournament, Hiromu Takahashi has been desperate to regain the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship. Takahashi went 4-3 in last year’s tournament.

Dragon Lee- CMLL’s Dragon Lee is entering his second Best of Super Juniors tournament. His rivalry with Hiromu Takahashi has spanned CMLL, Ring of Honor & NJPW, and they are set to battle again this year. Dragon Lee went 4-3 in last year’s tournament.

Ryusuke Taguchi- Ryusuke Taguchi is entering his fifteenth Best of Super Juniors tournament. Taguchi went 4-3 in last year’s tournament. He won the tournament in 2012.

Sho- Sho is making his Best of Super Juniors debut.
