Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota

Minneapolis has been a runner up for WrestleMania ever since the new US Bank Stadium opened in 2016 but has come up short time and time again. They have hosted some memorable moments in WWE such as the 2015 Slammy Awards and a TLC PPV in 2017. St. Paul hosted a Smackdown last year and crested 10,000 fans. They have only hosted 5 shows since 2015 yet have seen the numbers around 10,000 every time. As of this publication there are no plans to return to Minneapolis in the future.

San Jose, California

San Jose had a high amount of success with WrestleMania weekend in 2015 but has only been host to 4 events since that weekend. One of which was Payback 2017 when Braun Strowman picked up a victory over Roman Reigns. San Jose seems to play second fiddle to Los Angeles but has been on shows of equal quality. The same cannot be said for attendance, but San Jose still reaches over 10,500 on average. All signs currently point to San Jose securing yet another PPV in December of this year, likely to be TLC.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Toronto doesn’t get the opportunity to host WWE events often but when they do they make it count. Average attendance is well over 13,500 which ranks 3rd in all of WWE’s markets only behind Brooklyn & Philadelphia. Survivor Series 2016 was largely successful for the city which saw Goldberg pick up a quick victory over Brock Lesnar (The last time that Lesnar has been pinned as of this publication). They have now joined the cities that regularly host the RAW & Smackdown double and the city continues to put up excellent numbers. Toronto normally only hosts 1 RAW per year and the fans have clearly proven that they are worthy of more than 1 PPV every 5 years.
