Bret Hart Return; The Last Great Wish

Justin LaBar

In wrestling it seems there are always those things that the fan wants to see. I am talking about those big big moments that are forever remembered and relived.

In the late 90′s it was the possibility of ever seeing the former WWF guys back working for Vince.

Then around the turn of the century there was a lot of want to see Shawn Michaels fight another match, since he hadn’t wrestled since March of 1998.

For a while it was to see DX back together.

For the past years who hasn’t wanted to see Kane with his mask back on and carry the aggressiveness he use too!

Through all of that, everything but the Kane and his mask has occurred. The one thing we have always wanted to see for 12 years, is Bret Hart in a Vince McMahon ring.

After recent reports that have been published on Wrestlezone.com, we may be as close as ever to seeing the excellence of execution on WWE programming again. Obviously it would be as a manager or GM type role. We will never see him wrestle again but I know it would still be awesome to see.

I think having the former champ return to Monday nights and be the end to the guest GM spot would be an amazing breath of fresh air. Think of the possibilities!! He could be a face and aggravate Randy Orton and Jericho. He can be the ultimate heel again and deal with DX and John Cena!

WWE loves doing the guest GM for the mainstream attention. If they brought in Bret as the replacement for that, I feel that whatever mainstream attention they lose for no longer bringing in Hollywood, they may gain in old time wrestling fans who will have a reason to tune in (at least for the beginning of it to see how it plays out) to watch Bret Hart involved in the show.

Bret Hart returning would potentially be one of the last great wishes in pro wrestling to come true in this era that ever will. We are never going to see Austin versus Hogan and there will be no war between WWE and anyone (especially TNA) anytime soon! So Hart back working with the McMahon’s may fulfill the wrestling genie and his checklist.

Curious for your thoughts on my opinion and how you would feel if Bret Hart returned to the WWE.
