What’s NOT Bothering Me?: Foley, Vince/Austin, Your Thoughts

I sat. I thought.

More like pondered, but for the life of me, I could not come up with three things that were bothering me in pro wrestling this week. I asked my Twitter followers for their input, got some great responses, but then turned it around on them last minute. I decided that if I was having that hard of a time coming up with things I didn't like this week, it must have been a pretty good week.

Let's celebrate it!

Mick Foley#3. "A Hidden Gem" by Mick Foley

Mick's appearance on Monday Night Raw was MUCH better than the other stuff we've seen him do in WWE since his return. He can talk. He can get live crowds invested. Let him. His involvement in the new direction of the CM Punk/Johnny Ace storyling (more on that in a minute) was subtle, yet productive.

Mick says he needs three months to get into ring shape. His idea of "ring shape" is not the standard, so I believe him. It will be nice to see him back in action when it's time. Most importantly, and the best thing about it, is the fact that he'll be putting others over in the process. He understands that's his role these days.

However, I want to turn your attention to something completely unrelated to Foley's recent WWE stuff. I have no clue how I came across it, but I'm genuinely glad I did. It's a recent "pilot" series Mick was involved with and I challenge any wrestling fan to tell me they are not thoroughly entertained after watching it.

It's called "Undisputed" and the first three episodes can be found in full on Youtube (www.youtube.com/undisputedshow). It's a comedic look at the goings-on behind the scenes of an independent wrestling company. Mick Foley plays the part of "Tully Rhodes". Other wrestlers make cameos, including Ken Anderson and Austin Aries.

I simply ask you to take a look. It's extremely well-written and very funny. I'm not sure about the status of the project going forward, but I hope they are still trying to do something with it — even if it can't involve Mick any longer. It's that good. After checking it out, tweet me your thoughts @RealityofChris.
