WWE RawThe Undercard

Daniel Bryan and Kane defeated Prime Time Players to kick off another 3 hour Raw. I really enjoyed this match for a few reasons. For the casual fans, they get a glimpse of the future with Titus O'Neil and Darren Young. I have been vocal about being very high on these two talents, and feel like they can carry a tag divison for a few years. In the match, they took advantage of The Shield distracting Kane and Daniel, As Titus was able to carry much of the offense. He is very talented and strong, and shows it with simple body slams to Kane. He also is a guy with quickness and athleticism for his physique. The match was very good, but the end was the story. The Shield would attack Kane and Bryan once again, powerbombing Daniel Bryan. Kane tries to break it up, but does not get there in time. The damage was done, and The Shield continues to make an impact. Grade: B+

AJ Lee defeated Tamina Snuka . This was a match that had so little to be desired. AJ got over because of her personality and her acting, not her wrestling. Tamina attacked her at a Pay Per View, and this garbage was the payoff? The action was sloppy, as well as no interest from the crowd. I am sorry, but Tamina just does not do anything for me. She can wrestle, but has no appeal to her. What a letdown. Grade: D

Damien Sandow defeated Santino Marella after we get a funny promo with Sandow. He is looking for an apprentice and asks three questions to a fan. He would end up beraiding the fan and gets interrupted by Santino. They have a match that was okay, but not great. Once again, Damien is stuck in a position where he cannot go up or down. he is set in stone with very little room to move, and it shows with matches against Tyson Kidd and Santino. The pace of the match was extremely slow, with Santino making a joke out of Sandow. I am at a point where I just want Sandow to be in a meaningful feud. His finisher is good enough, his aggression is there, but he just needs that one guy. Why not a Randy Orton? Grade: C

Alberto Del Rio defeated Sin Cara. Even though we have seen these guys fight before, and the fact that they have no feud right now, I loved this match. For the first time, I am beginning to find the appeal with Sin Cara. He has consistently gotten better in the ring, with less botches and more timing execution. He would hit a beautiful kick to the face of Del Rio, which really dazed the former World Champion. Alberto had to find a different way to overcome this athletic offense, and he did with extreme aggression. Finally, I got a glimpse of what Del Rio can really do. He grounded his opponent, found some easy reversals, and escaped with a victory. If they had some sort of feud, this match could easily have been a A. Grade: B+
