Velvet Sky defeated Madison Rayne. It looks like Velvet Sky's return will have her win matches that feature her strengths. What are her biggest strengths though? I really think her lower body is the best part of her because that is where she gets her power. Yeah, make all the jokes you want, but Sky is really just an average to above average Knockouts star. Her finishing move was impressive, looks painful. I just wonder how long her momentum will last her. Grade: C
Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff defeated Robbie E. and Robbie T.in a match that really is interesting in a few ways. Brisco and Bischoff are extremely new and very young in the ring. They get put into a match with the Robbie's who are used as doormats for everyone in TNA. The match was actual decent, but Bischoff's moves inside the ring are very limited. He can do a flapjack and a splash to the corner, but that really ends there. He is not extremely strong enough, athletic enough, and will continue to struggle to get attention with how he can wrestle. Brisco is very solid in the ring, good timing, and I enjoyed the exchange he and Robbie E. had in the match. The pace picked up with both guys, but my biggest issue was why is this important to me? The fans are not investing in any of these men, and it is ashame. Robbie E. is a good talent, as we saw in the Bound For Glory matches, and Brisco will continue to get better. There is just no identity for any of these guys. Grade: C+
Kenny King defeated Rob Van Dam in a rematch from Final Resoultion. Kenny King has such a wide arsenal of moves, and his physique is impressive. He can do many moves, including a snap suplex and a flying body splash. He really has the entire package and reminds me of a young Shelton Benjamin. The biggest difference is that King has a character and a personality. King rolls through a pinfall attempt, gets his feet on the rope, and steals a win from RVD. Interesting finish since the crowd has attached themselves to the young King. Will this make him more of a heel? King is still young enough to figure out what you want to do with him.
