TNA iMPACT Results

TNA iMPACT starts now!

Kicking things off is Cleveland’s own Nic Nemeth, who joins the commentary team for the upcoming match featuring AJ Francis and KC Navarro.

AJ Francis vs. KC Navarro

  • The finish of the match saw KC Navarro reverse AJ Francis’ chokeslam into a pinfall for the win.

Winner: KC Navarro

After the match, Nic Nemeth joins KC Navarro on the ramp. Nemeth raises Navarro’s hand as Francis fumes inside the ring.

Grade: A-

A textbook David vs. Goliath encounter, with Goliath holding all the momentum until a distraction got the better of him. The distraction came courtesy of Nic Nemeth, who himself had a strong match against Francis at TNA Rebellion last Saturday. As for Navarro, he made a major statement in his TNA iMPACT in-ring return.

EC3 promo

EC3 cuts a promo ahead of his match against Eric Young. EC3 divides his career into a three-part act. The first act was his TNA run; the second act was him betting on himself and exploring the world, including a stint in WWE. The third act saw him become a world champion in the NWA before his return to TNA at Rebellion.

The System addresses TNA iMPACT

The System walks out to the ring. Brian Myers questions the fans’ hostile reaction. He talks about his and Bear Bronson’s World Tag Team Title win over The Hardys at Rebellion.

Eddie Edwards begins by addressing the outcome of his World Title match against Mike Santana last Saturday. Edwards says he would have been champion had Moose not cost him the chance. He accuses Moose of being jealous of The System and his relationship with his wife, Alisha Edwards.

Alisha calls out Moose’s actions. She admits it was intelligent of Moose to play the footage revealing she had been in cahoots with The System all along, but takes credit for Moose being smart because of spending time with her.

Cedric Alexander says Rebellion was supposed to be a night of total dominance for The System but laments that he failed to beat Leon Slater for the X-Division Title.

Leon Slater and Moose appear

Leon Slater shows up. Slater says he beat Alexander fair and square, but Cedric is always moaning and complaining. Slater says he is about to become the longest-reigning X-Division Champion in TNA history.

Eddie Edwards mocks Slater’s title run until Moose appears. The Face of the Franchise calls The System a bunch of bitches. He roasts Brian Myers by calling him “Edge’s bitch.” Moose says everyone knows who has the bigger balls between Eddie and Alisha, and calls Edwards a bitch. Moose saves his harshest line for Lish, saying there are 30 Knockouts in the back who can confirm she is the biggest bitch to ever step into TNA Wrestling.

Alisha calls Moose a pea brain. Leon Slater interrupts, saying he and Moose are in ring gear, The System is in their ring gear, so that calls for a fight.

Daria Rae interrupts and tells Slater to shut up. The suit says that kind of match would have been fine with Santino, but he is not here because he is suspended. Slater says Santino will always remain the superior general manager. Moose agrees.

Daria Rae has a change of heart, but instead of booking Moose and Slater vs. Edwards and Alexander, she sets up a two-on-four match for tonight.

Elijah wants a rematch

Daria Rae is backstage when she is approached by Elijah, who asks for Santino. Daria says Santino is suspended, but she is here to help.

Elijah talks about his controversial loss against Frankie Kazarian at TNA Rebellion and says he wants a rematch.

Daria calls Kazarian on the phone and tells him Elijah wants a rematch. Kazarian says “no,” and Daria hangs up the phone. She tells Elijah the match is not happening.

Elijah responds, “So that’s how it’s going to be,” and leaves the room.

Mustafa Ali issues open challenge

Order 4 is in the ring. Mustafa Ali puts over his faction. He talks about his “Personal Weapon of Mass Destruction,” Special Agent Zero. He says next to his right shoulder is Tasha Steelz, and on his left shoulder is the TNA International Champion.

Ali gloats about his victory at Rebellion. He says he does not need second chances, unlike Trey Miguel and The Hardys. Ali then issues an open challenge to TNA stars as well as independent wrestlers to show up.

He then puts over Tasha Steelz ahead of her match against Jada Stone, who then makes her entrance.

Tasha Steelz vs. Jada Stone

  • The finish of the match saw Jada Stone hit Tasha Steelz with the Spark Stunner for the win.

Winner: Jada Stone

Grade: B+

A statement win for Jada Stone, who can now focus on the bigger picture: a potential TNA Knockouts World Championship opportunity. As for Tasha Steelz, she remains strong as the “Press Secretary” of Order 4, but this writer would like to see her shine in singles competition.

WWE producer appears on TNA iMPACT

Part 3 of Rosemary’s Undead Realm airs on the show. We see Joseph Park show up. Park asks Rosemary about his “brother,” Abyss. He also references his stint as a WWE backstage producer.

Check out the clip below:

Sibling tension

Nic Nemeth is backstage with KC Navarro, congratulating him on his win against AJ Francis earlier tonight. Ryan Nemeth shows up and asks Nic what it’s all about. He reminds Nic that he is his actual brother and that Navarro is not family.

The System interrupts. Brian Myers calls Navarro a charity case. More harsh words are exchanged. Bear Bronson gets in Nic Nemeth’s face and says he doesn’t like Nemeth’s tone. Nemeth responds that he is not hard to find. The System leaves, and Ryan Nemeth says he is going to call their mother.

Navarro asks what his deal is, and Nic says the whole place is crazy.

Mike Santana introduces his next opponent

TNA World Champion Mike Santana is in the ring. Santana puts over Eddie Edwards but says he still beat him at TNA Rebellion. Santana then introduces his next opponent: Rich Swann. The former TNA World Champion appears.

Swann cuts a long promo, promising fans that if the bout is made official, they will deliver a match to be remembered for years to come.

Santana then name-drops “God-awful evil woman” Daria Rae and tells her to make the match official for next week’s TNA iMPACT!

Lei Ying Lee appears in a vignette. Lee talks about her journey from China to America to pursue professional wrestling. In doing so, Lee became best friends with Xia Brookside. She says Xia was there to support her through thick and thin, but expresses her lack of understanding of Xia’s betrayal at TNA Rebellion.

Lei says she didn’t just lose the Knockouts World Championship, she also lost her best friend.

We then see Xia Brookside watching the vignette on a screen. Gia Miller approaches Xia and questions her about her actions from last weekend. Xia simply leaves without giving an answer.

EC3 vs. Eric Young

The match ends in a no contest after both men are shoved into the referee. A brawl ensues outside the ring, but Young gets the upper hand.

He places EC3 in a chair and sends him neck-first into the ringside steel steps. Young celebrates as the crowd responds with a roar of approval.

The segment ends with officials checking on EC3 as Young stands triumphantly on the ramp.

Grade: C+

If I recall correctly, the referee collision was a botch, and I’m trying to make sense of this feud. Eric Young has been positioned as TNA’s so-called gatekeeper for quite some time. He’s had issues with BDE and previously took out Ricky Sosa.

If the whole purpose of this angle is to build toward Sosa’s return, then it raises the question of why EC3 is the one at the receiving end of a beatdown.

That said, I did enjoy the crowd’s reaction to the segment. They were fully behind Eric Young taking out EC3.

Allie is back

The lights turn red, and we see Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford, and Mila Moore appear from below the ring, shocked and distraught. Rosemary and Mara Sade then appear and engage the three women in a brawl.

However, the odds remain stacked against Rosemary and Sade until Allie makes her return. The former Bunny makes quick work of Moore and Crawford before taking out Blanchard. The segment ends with Allie standing tall alongside Rosemary and Mara Sade, while Blanchard, Crawford, and Moore look on from the ramp in horror.

It’s almost ‘broken’ season

Matt Hardy cuts a Broken Matt–style promo on The Righteous. Hardy says Vincent and Dutch have finally caused them to snap. Matt teases a Hardys vs. Righteous cinematic match, hinting that the “Broken” season is almost here.

Jeff then walks into frame and delivers a two-finger snap, after which the screen fades to black.

Moose and Leon Slater vs. The System

  • The finish of the match saw Cedric Alexander hit Moose with the Lumbar Check for the win.

Winners: The System

Grade: A-

Moose and Slater put up a fight despite being clearly outnumbered against The System. Slater’s dive on the outside was a thing of beauty. I really want him to break Austin Aries’ record as the longest-reigning TNA X-Division Champion. However, Slater might have to go through Alexander first, and that match could happen in the next two to three weeks.

Overall Grade: B-

TNA delivered a mixed episode of iMPACT! with standout highs but some noticeable lows that kept it from fully clicking.

The opener and the main event were easily the best matches of the night, both delivering strong in-ring action and crowd engagement. KC Navarro also stood out in a big way, shining in his return match and proving he still has momentum heading forward.

Eric Young vs. EC3, however, was a major letdown. What had potential to be a compelling singles clash ultimately fell flat and lacked the payoff it needed, especially given the characters involved.

On the brighter side, Joseph Park’s appearance in the Undead Realm segment was a welcome surprise once again, adding some intrigue and continuity to that storyline thread. The Undead Realm vignette culminating in Allie’s return was another highlight, giving the Knockouts division a strong and memorable moment.

The Hardys also teased a return to their iconic “Broken” gimmick, with Matt Hardy challenging Dutch to a match set for next week, further building anticipation for what’s to come.

The main event stood out as one of the strongest matches of the night, and I especially enjoyed Leon Slater’s selling of the Lumbar Check, which added real impact to the closing moments.

Overall, it was an uneven show with clear peaks and valleys.

That’s it for tonight. This writer will be back with TNA iMPACT! results coverage next week.
