I think CM Punk stays the WWE Champion. The Rock may be a big time Draw for this event, but I only see him winning by DQ at best. CM Punk needs to solidify this title reign by beating The People's Champ at this PPV. Also, Brock Lesnar returns to win the Royal Rumble. If Brock does not enter the match, I predict a straight up John Cena Rumble win. Its predictable and easy but then again, so is 90% of WWE's booking.
Bold predictions from Frank, but the current poll on Wrestlezone.com between Punk and Rock seems to be almost dead even. And perhaps even more bold, is the idea that Lesnar returns to win it all. Let's see if his Wrestle Reaction partner has the same views...

I think The Rock is going to win the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble. Royal Rumble is the 2nd biggest event for WWE in the whole year and I think this is the time you have him win (not at Elimination Chamber). In the Royal Rumble Match, I think John Cena wins. I don't see 2 huge "faces" like The Rock and John Cena, both being made to be liars by not winning their respective matches this Sunday. At least 1 of them comes through for sure.
Joe taking exactly the opposite side as Frank, but taking the safe option isn't always the worst idea. WWE may go the more predictable route this Sunday, and as I've been saying for months concerning this angle, the most obvious story is sometimes still the right story to tell.
And now across the pond to foreign correspondant, Trisha Taka - erm...Martyn Nolan.

This year’s Rumble is slightly different to that of previous years and nobody really stands out as an obvious choice for the win. So whenever I’m unsure, I will always bet on Cena. It’s not what I want to see but it’s a strong possibility to get Cena involved in the Rock/Punk situation. Lesnar may be another choice but I’m not sure they want to bring him in at this early stage. As for the WWE Championship I believe that CM Punk will retain. I hope and pray that WWE continues to use Punk’s current reign as WWE Champion to create something special that lasts far longer than this WrestleMania season.
Last year, our own Chris Cash was the only person on Wrestlezone to accurately predict Sheamus as the winner. This year he doesn't have the advantage of being alone in his picks; somehow I think he'll still manage to make the rest of us look like school children...
