Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Why Seth Rollins Could Walk Out of WrestleMania 31 as Champion”

Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett

wwe rawDean Ambrose starts with some kicks, but the champion tries to take him down with a knee strike. Ambrose slaps him in the chest a few times, followed by a cross body and an elbow drop. Barrett comes back with some stomach blows, but Ambrose hits a running bulldog. He heads up top and gets hung up on the ropes. Barrett connects with high knees and a big boot. He grabs his title and poses in the ring heading to a commercial break.

Dean Ambrose hits a Suicide Dive and an elbow drop to the outside. Truth picks up the title again and steals it. Back in the ring, Ambrose unloads multiple punches and chops. Luke Harper is right behind Truth and asks for the title. Barrett is distracted and yells at Harper. This allows Ambrose to hit Dirty Deeds and pick up the win.

This is refreshing. I like how everyone wants the title. WWE is finally coming up with something interesting, comical and different. Luke Harper deserves to be in the ladder match and is a unique big man who can really go. Harper is excellent and his abilities need to be on display at WrestleMania. Well done segment and more names will be announced in the coming weeks. Keep it going.

As for the match, Ambrose and Barrett have good chemistry. It was really good and showcased how fast Ambrose can unload offense. Barrett does a great job and is in the best conditioning of his career.

-The Miz debuts a new commercial, featuring his erectile dysfunction. “Niagara” commercial airs and he slaps Damien Mizdow in the face. He looks to explode and ends up saying sorry. The slow build for Mizdow continues and it reaches another dramatic point tonight. I wonder why they are both going to be in the battle royal. They should use them in single’s matches against one another, even on the pre-show. That would do much more that lost in a battle royal.
