Isenberg Reacts: Previewing The Predictable at Survivor Series

WWE needs Bray Wyatt to come on top. There is nothing that can ruin the career of The Undertaker. If a streak being broken can’t, a Survivor Series tag team match won’t. Who cares if it is the “25th Anniversary of The Undertaker?” Survivor Series has not been important in the eyes of WWE for quite some time. I rank this way behind the following: WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and even Money in the Bank. It has become a “B” Pay-Per-View for years and it won’t change.  Tell me a win that Bray has had where you thought to yourself, “okay, this is it. Here comes Bray.” A victory over Ambrose and Reigns can’t do it. Losing the third of a series of matches to John Cena did not do it. Pinning or making The Undertaker submit would be best for business. Why? Because he needs it and it is unpredictable.

We can all write in Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose for the finals, right? We can all see Roman holding the title up and the crowd split. Instead of this, make Roman join The Authority. Make Roman walk the path of his family member from over a decade ago. When The Rock was being force fed to the fans, WWE flipped the switch and made him align with Shane and Vince. Take out those two and add Stephanie and Paul. Put Roman in a spot to succeed, good or bad. Dean can sell merch. Ziggler can sell merch. Hell, Roman might even be the modern-day face by being a heel. Why not? What do you have to lose right now? He is an investment and changing his gimmick from the predictable can only help his career ten years from now.

Will WWE be unpredictable? I hope, but they like to rely on predictable. Roman Reigns is predicted to become a champion without much drama.
