Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “Dean Ambrose Is Not World Championship Material”

The Miz and Dolph Ziggler

The Miz comes out and talks about what happened with Daniel Bryan last week on Talking Smack. He talks about the reality of how good he is, how he should be respected and how he is going to get everyone’s attention even more now. The Miz gets interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, who talks about how The Miz only wants to be famous, while everyone else is about the wrestling and about the passion. He says Miz does not want to be the best, but famous. He calls him soft and a coward. Dolph Ziggler tells him to fight and show everyone wrong. The Miz teases it, but ends up walking away.

You can see the passion from Dolph Ziggler here and a really emotional segment to kick off Smackdown. This is why The Miz might be the best heel in the WWE right now. He is really good and one night elevated this championship to something that has importance and a spotlight on. Do I think Dolph is the best option? I am not sure, especially since we have seen these guys so many times. But, now is an opportunity for both men to put their history aside and create something new.

Hype Bros Advance

English and Ryder work early on, with Ryder getting a dropkick and a few forearm shots. The Vaudevillians pose a little bit and then Ryder gets the hot tag into Mojo Rawley. He hits a few clotheslines and shoulder blocks. He hits a big splash two times into the corner and then a press powerslam for a two count. Zack Ryder hits a Broski Boot to Simon Gotch and then Mojo hits a big elbow. Ryder and Rawley hit the Hype Ryder for the win. After the match, they cut a promo about wanting to become Tag Team Champions.

This tag team has 90’s energy written all over it. Even though I like both guys, I get weary that the fans are going to turn on how over the top they can be in the ring. They are fun to watch and have a good gimmick. It is still young to the casual audience, but this is definitely something Smackdown needs. They are fun and the depth in the division is beginning to show. Also, what did Simon Gotch do to piss someone off? There has to be more than we know. They have fallen so fast.

He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
