Exclusive: TNA Decision on Jeff Hardy Coming “Shortly”

According to a key TNA insider, a decision on the Jeff Hardy has either been made, or will be finalized very soon, and announced to the public "shortly."

Hardy showed up last Sunday night to the TNA Victory Road pay per view and was, according to several backstage sources, unfit to perform. Despite his obvious impairment, TNA shockingly allowed him to go out to the ring, but only for a short time.

With both Hardy and TNA World Champion Sting in the ring, Executive Producer Eric Bischoff came out to kill time, and the match was over in less than two minutes.

Sting left the ring while the crowd chanted “Bullshit."

Sting said to them, “I agree.”

This was just days before his latest court case on drug possession and distribution charges. It was also just a short while after he was nearly stripped of the title at the Final Resolution PPV on December 5th because management thought he was impaired backstage at that show as well.  Hardy claimed he was exhausted from a tour of the Middle East, coupled with a personal appearance that week.

TNA had Hardy lose the title to Sting on February 24th, and while some knew Hardy was upset about dropping the title, his condition backstage at the pay per view was described as "alarming."

TNA sent Hardy home and changed the scripts for iMPACT! this week. They also announced they would give fans who purchased the PPV six months of free access to the company’s TNAondemand.com library as a way to show they understood there were serious problems at the show.

The note to fans stated, “TNA Wrestling strives to give fans who purchase our pay-per-views as close to a full three-hour event as possible. This Saturday’s TNA Victory Road fell short of that standard. Your support of TNA is never taken for granted. To sow you how we value that support, we would like to offer six months of free access to the TNAondemand.com library. To receive your free offer, please send us a copy of your Victory Road pay-per-view purchase receipt to: TNA OnDemand Offer, 209 10th Ave. South, #302, Nashville, TN 37203. Please be sure and submit your name, address and email address as we will be emailing a special code that will unlock over 300 hours of great TNA Wrestling action.”

We have been told TNA wants the new storylines to take shape before announcing their decision on Hardy.
