Jeff Hardy Not Yet 100% Ahead of TNA Slammiversary

Jeff Hardy has provided an honest update on his health ahead of TNA Slammiversary, revealing that he is still dealing with a lingering neck issue as one of the company’s biggest events of the year approaches.

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast alongside Matt Hardy, the TNA veteran opened up about his recovery process and admitted that he still has work to do before feeling fully healthy.

With Slammiversary set for June 28 in Boston, Jeff Hardy’s comments add an extra layer of intrigue to the Hardys’ upcoming appearance.

During the interview, Matt Hardy praised his brother’s personal and professional journey, highlighting both his sobriety and his conduct during a difficult injury situation.

Matt noted that Jeff has been dealing with “a couple of bulging discs” in his neck but has approached the recovery process carefully.

“He’s been very smart with doing it,” Matt said. “He’s really got everything together and he’s living his best life.”

Jeff then shared a candid update of his own, making it clear that the road back to full health isn’t over yet.

“I’m slowly improving,” Jeff said. “I’m still quite a ways from 100%, but the neck has been such a nagging energy.”

The injury has even inspired a new wrinkle in his in-ring arsenal. Hardy revealed that he created a submission hold called the “Final Spinal Destination” after dealing with the ongoing neck problems.

While improvement continues, Hardy admitted the injury has changed how he approaches matches.

“Naturally, I’m kind of scared to do certain things,” he said. “Matt’s been doing a lot of the work for me, so I’m very grateful for that.”

Jeff added that he is trying to do as little as possible physically in order to continue healing and “hopefully be 100% by the 28th of June come Slammiversary time.”

For wrestling fans, Hardy and ladder matches go together like tables and broken dreams. However, this year’s road to Slammiversary comes with a different challenge. The Hardys remain a major part of TNA’s tag team picture, but Jeff’s focus now is clear — reaching the pay-per-view as healthy as possible and writing the next chapter of his storied career.
