According to a new report, the reason why WWE has chosen to keep its top developmental talent off the debuting fourth season of NXT is because it plans to run a fifth season and hopes to find a spot on U.S. TV to air the show. If that happens, you can expect to see the best of WWE’s FCW talent called up for the season.

It’s being reported that WWE officials were very impressed with the bout Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith had on Superstars last week, which is one of the reasons why the two were booked in a match on Raw last night. The other reason is that WWE wanted to introduce Kidd’s new bodyguard, FCW talent Jackson Andrews.
