Off-Air Elimination Chamber Notes: HBK, Taker Burn & More

-After WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV went off the air tonight, HBK just stood in the ring over The Undertaker and continued to stare him down. After awhile, HBK left the chamber and made his way to the back, and he received a very mixed reaction from the crowd. It sounded like he was getting more boos then cheers, and came off as the heel between the two after he cost Undertaker the title. The Undertaker finally made his way to his feet, he received cheers from the crowd as his music played and he exited.

-For those who may not have seen it on TV, The Undertaker was visibly pissed off after the pyro incident took place which seemed to ignite his jacket. I could see him yelling at the referee after he was doused with water bottles.

I was at the Chamber PPV tonight. Just got home and read your results to see if there was any mention of the horrifying incident that happened.

In your notes, it was said that Undertaker "runs to the ring in a hurry." I’m assuming it didn’t make the air, but the Undertaker indeed ran to the ring…because the wall of fire that goes off when he’s way down the aisle, went off as he was standing at the top of the ramp. It literally engulfed him. Fire when up through his trenchcoat and all the way up. He shook around and dashed forward to get away from the source, threw off his jacket, and luckily, the fire didn’t catch anything that was on him. He got in the ring and was absolutely furious.

So yeah, Taker ran to the ring because he was on fire. But I tell ya what, he may actually be a Deadman, or have special powers because for all intents and purposes, he should have been burned and burned badly. My theory is that the jacket ventilated him enough to save him. The flames went in and around him inside of it and when he threw it off, it stopped fairly quickly.

We could have seen a real tragedy, but thankfully, Taker survived.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
