About a month ago, I posted an exclusive report updating the current Ric Flair/WWE situation, and PWInsider.com has provided the latest update in the evolving relationship between The Nature Boy and WWE.
It's being reported that Vince still has no interest in bringing Flair back to WWE TV, although he is a name that is being placed on the list of those who could host Raw in the event that the scheduled guest host backs out or cannot appear on the program.
In our exclusive report a month ago, we noted that Vince was interested in bringing Flair to the Smackdown brand after the USA Network execs did not want him on Raw, and it's now being reported that Vince offered Flair a General Manager position on the show, however, Flair turned the offer down and subsequently agreed to appear with Ring of Honor.
Flair was paid an advancement for the dates he agreed to work with Ring of Honor, however, he backed out of working a majority of those dates and it's being reported that he has yet to return the money to the company. It should be noted that although ROH does in fact want their money back it isn't likely that a lawsuit will be filed.
In related Flair news, a film was scheduled to be made about his life, however, it failed to go through when Flair's management team demanded Executive Producer credits, to which the production company would not agree.
