Mother of Dory & Terry Funk Passes Away at 89

All of us at WZ.com send our condolences to Dory & Terry Funk over the recent death of their mother Dorothy Funk Culver.  She was 89 years old.

Dorothy Funk Culver, 89, of Amarillo died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009.

Mrs. Culver was born Feb. 18, 1919, in Chicago. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.

Survivors include a sister, Eleanor Jones of Indiana; two sons, Dory Funk Jr. of Florida and Terry Funk of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
