Matt Hardy was recently interviewed for “WrestleTalk Radio.” Highlights of the interview are below:
*Matt Hardy put over Paul Heyman’s promo at the ECW PPV.
*Hardy noted that he is excited about the prospect of working outside of WWE and not having to worry about “overshadowing” the main event.
*Matt can’t wait for his ROH debut next month, although he knows that there will be a lot of pressure to perform.
*Hardy spoke about his new girlfriend, Lori, and noted that he knew her long before he started dating Lita. He also stated that he was not surprised by WWE’s decision to cut him loose.
*On the subject of Kane playing “Matt Hardy” in the WWE RAW angle, Hardy noted that Kane is uneasy about the role. He also expressed distaste over the angle, noting that it’s completely ruining Lita’s character – she was never about being a slut.
