Kane starts the show off by saying he will not stop until John Cena embraces the hate, and he is going to make sure two things happen. The first is that he will make Cena embrace it, and he will also make sure someone takes a ride in an ambulance tonight. After the opening highlights and music, Jerry Lawler is shown in the ring to announce the first ever Elimination Chamber debate. He announces the competitors and says due to the crowd response CM Punk will go first. King says he has the odds against him and asks why he thinks he will retain his title, but John Laurinaitis walks out and cuts him off before he can answer. John says he just wanted to thank the board for trusting him and waves to the crowd, then Punk says he has a few things to say.

Punk promises the debate won't end in violence, and says #snicklefritz Laurinaitis must have dirt on someone to keep his job, but he also kisses alot of ass. Punk says the third thing is that he is the best wrestler in the world, then Dolph says he is better than Punk and backs it up every night. Dolph says R-Truth doesn't even know where he is, and Truth says if he wins this election he will trade Dolph and Vickie to Smackdown for Hornswoggle. He also says he will force people to chant 'What', then he talks about a box of spiders and Dolph says this is ridiculous. Truth continues talking about spiders and says he will eat spider stew to give him energy, then he thanks them all for listening and King turns his attention to Miz.

Miz corrects King for saying he was in the main event of Wrestlemania by saying he was the winner and the guy that set records, then tears everyone else down. The buzzer goes off and King tries to get him to stop, but Miz continues to run his mouth until Kofi tells him to shut up. Kofi says he has been overlooked for too long, and he might be an afterthought before the match but he might also walk out of the Chamber as the new WWE Champion. King says it is Chris Jericho's turn now, and he calls the fans neophytes and says he is the true guy to be the best in the world. Jericho says he knows the chamber very well and the last time he was in it he won the title, so Punk might as well give him the title right now and asks if he understands him.  (Cont'd…)
