During a recent interview conducted by Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com, UFC President Dana White responded to Vince McMahon's recent criticism of UFC's ratings, as McMahon referred to them as "abysmal." The following are highlights from White's response, which you can watch in full in the video below:
"(Laughing and smiling) Vince keeps talking sh*t about us and I don't know why. I don't know why he is talking sh*t about us. I mean there is a lot of things I could say about the WWE, but I would never. I don't know. I don't know why he is trying to kick us in the balls. I like Vince. I have a good relationship with Vince. I think it is in his nature as a competitor, as a human being, it's the way Vince is built. You know?
I don't think there is anything for him to be threatened by. We are two completely different businesses. Shots I take at boxing are shots that need to be taken. There is reasons the sport is as messed up as it is and I point them out and everything else. As far as Vince's business, I mean I don't even know enough about his business to even comment on it. You know I know he pulls killer ratings on TV. I have no interest…just two totally different businesses."
