Smackdown To Be Preempted This Friday?

Huffington Post is reporting NBC plans to simulcast the 'Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together' concert special tomorrow night across all of their networks, which includes SyFy.

NBC Universal announced plans on Thursday morning to air a telethon on its networks to benefit those in need following the massive storm that devastated New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and parts of Massachusetts and West Virginia.

The special will air on Friday night, broadcasting simultaneously on NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA. Matt Lauer will host, and the special will include performances by Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Sting. There were no announcements yet as to when the regularly scheduled programming will air.
