Update: Even More on the Pending Lawsuits Between TNA & Scott Steiner

PWInsider.com is now reporting the hearing was canceled as TNA informed the court that “the parties anticipate an Agreed Order of Dismissal with respect to the Defendant’s Counterclaim.”

In light of the above update, it appears as if TNA and Steiner are close to settling Steiner’s counterclaim that TNA breached its contract with him by failing to provide accounts of royalties.

Despite this apparent settlement, however, there are two remaining pieces of litigation still in play between TNA and Steiner. TNA originally filed a lawsuit against Steiner for lashing out via Twitter at the company and stars like Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and more. Additionally, Steiner filed a second counterclaim against TNA, alleging that Jeff Hardy was intoxicated during a match he worked against Steiner at a house show event in Dearborn, Michigan. Both of these suits are not covered by the settlement noted above.
