2013 Royal Rumble PPV Buy Rate Is In: Did The Rock's Ring Return Help Boost the Numbers?

According to data released by WWE, the 2013 Royal Rumble PPV, which featured the in-ring return of The Rock, drew approximately 498,000 buys. Last year's show drew approximately 438,000 buys, making this year's show a bigger draw by about 14%.

Domestically, the show took in 322,000 buys and did 176,000 buys internationally.
