Former WWE and TNA superstar Matt Morgan recently said in an interview with ProWrestling.net that he is leaving the wrestling business for a new line of work. Morgan revealed that he had been in talks with both companies — WWE and TNA — but that this new job blew away any offer either of them could have made.

Matt Morgan will be a new regional manager of a "big-time medical device company".

The financial stability of this new job made Morgan's decision to leave the business an easy one, he said in the interview, but the birth of his new child was also a determining factor. Jackson Morgan was born last night and Morgan tweeted the following:

"By the grace of God, we welcomed our first born Jackson Morgan into the world earlier today!!! Thx for all ur prayers guys! #GodIsGreat"

While Matt Morgan leaving wrestling might come as a surprise to some, "The Blueprint" isn't calling it a retirement. He said in the interview that he isn't ruling out an occasional independent appearance.
