As we reported earlier today, CM Punk was officially moved to the Alumni section of WWE.com this afternoon.
Within hours, #ThankYouPunk was trending worldwide on Twitter, and the Second City Saint and Straight Edge Savior took to the internet to thank the fans for their years of support.

WWE will be airing CM Punk’s documentary on the WWE Network tonight as a tribute to his life and career. It is believed that his three-year contract was signed on July 17th, 2011 on the night of the famous WWE Money in the Bank PPV in Chicago, IL. Unless something major changes in the next few days, it appears the company is preparing for Punk’s departure.
