Kane vs Ryback
Ryback gets a big pop, Kane put Ryback over the whole match. Kane was in control most of the match until Ryback hit a quick counter into a meat hook close line and shell shocker for the win.
Alex Riley vs Darren Young
Crowd was indifferent and didn’t seem to remember Young. Riley sold Young out as the baby face, constantly complaining to the ref. Riley focused on Young’s knees. Riley tried the figure four but was rolled up for the Darren Young win.
Naomi, Emma & Alicia Fox vs Summer Rae, Cameron & Sasha Banks
Crowd sells out for faces, heels stay in control throughout. Sasha Banks given a lot of work. After 10 agonizing minutes, Naomi is tagged in, the faces clear the ring and Naomi hits Rear View on Summer Rae for win.
Cesaro vs Jack Swagger
Big pop for both. A lot of good technical wrestling from both, two of the best right now. After 10 minutes of back and forth Swagger hits the swagger bomb and goes for the ankle lock. Cesaro counters, hits the swing, then Swagger counters into the Patriot Lock for the win.
The Usos vs The Miz and Damien Mizdow for titles
This match was basically the Mizdow show. He was the center of attention until he tagged himself in. He then botched two moves and the Miz tagged back in. Miz hit Jey with the Skullcrushing Finale, kick out. Usos hit a double super kick and splash for the win while Mizdow laid on the apron mimicking Miz.
Adam Rose vs Justin Gabriel
Rose cuts promo talking about how much Beaumont sucks but he doesn’t catch much heat because it really does suck. The promo ended up being comic relief. Gabriel used a lot of moves similar to the bunny character. Rose goes aggressive and ends up arguing with the rosebuds. Gabriel surprises Rose with springboard moonsault and roll up for win. Rose assaults rosebuds and leaves alone.
Tyson Kidd vs Sin Cara
Big pop for Sin Cara, immediate Nattie’s husband chant. Kidd spends match playing toward crowd heat, puts on sharpshooter but Sin Cara reaches ropes. Sin Cara counters with roll up into power bomb followed by Swanton bomb for win.
Erick Rowan vs Big Show
Major heat for Show, no one cared about Rowan. Constant ” you suck” and sellout chants. Rowan controls most of match. Suddenly Big Show counters a close line with a knockout punch for the win. Crowd cheers despite heat because they don’t care about Rowan.
Rusev vs Roman Reigns for US title
Usual heat for Lana/Rusev, usual pop for Reigns. Reigns opens up by throwing Rusev out of the ring Rumble style. Both trade control and trade signature moves. Reigns goes for superman punch, countered by super kick. Rusev goes for Accolade, Reigns powers out and hits superman punch. Reigns goes for spear and Rusev ducks out of ring. Reigns grabs belt and tries to hit Rusev, Rusev hits a low blow and Reigns wins by DQ.
Pretty decent house show overall, good interaction from a small crowd. The crowd absolutely loved Reigns and the Usos. Also, shout out to WWE for the push they’re doing for Connor’s Cure. The video they put together and effort towards it are awesome. Only knock I had was that there wasn’t much merchandise.
