Big News From Tonight’s Impact Wrestling Tapings: TNA’s Plan for the Tag Titles, Knockouts Edition of Impact Planned *Spoilers*

impact wrestling tapingsTNA held another set of Impact Wrestling tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando tonight, and the following are some big updates coming from the tapings:

As noted, due to Eddie Edwards’ heel injury, The Wolves were forced to vacate the TNA Team Titles. As a result, a tournament will take place to crown new tag champions, and the following teams will participate:

–James Storm and Khoya

-Ethan Carter III and Bram

–Austin Aries and Bobby Roode

-Tigre Uno and Jay Rios

-Robbie E and Jessie Godderz

-Rockstar Spud and Mr. Anderson

-Kenny King and Low Ki

It was announced during tonight’s taping that a special edition of Impact Wrestling will be taped titled “TKO: Total Knockouts” and will likely feature the following matches:

-Awesome Kong vs. Taryn Terrell for the Knockouts title

-A #1 contender’s match featuring Gail Kim vs. Brooke Tessmacher vs. Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne.

Also during last night’s Impact tapings, former X-Division Champion Homicide made his TNA return and brawled with Kurt Angle at the end of the tapings.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
