HHH NXT Conference Call Recap: Updates on Zayn & Itami, NXT Touring Plans, Takeover Unstoppable Thoughts, Samoa Joe Update, Cena & Much More

wwe nxt live event results Today, at 11:30am EST, Triple H will be conducting a live conference call to hype tomorrow night’s WWE NXT Takeover: Unstoppable special.

WZ will be providing complete coverage of the call, which will begin shortly.

Triple H opens the call by apologizing for his voice due to allergies. He then talks about Charlotte vs Sasha Banks headlining the WWE NXT events last week and says he wants the NXT Divas to change the perception of womens wrestling.

HHH then talked about NXT touring and said that the live touring will continue. He said he is looking at both international shows and festival shows down the line, and hopes to have NXT a full touring brand by the end of the year.

HHH noted Sami Zayn has been cleared to wrestle at Takeover tomorrow, and will compete as scheduled.

HHH thanked ESPN for the work they did on the recent documentary and said he hopes they can work together again.

With regards to Matt Bloom, Triple H announced that he has been promoted to permanent head trainer at NXT. Bloom took over for Bill DeMott after DeMott’s resignation. Triple H also noted Sara Del Rey continues to work with WWE as a road agent as well as an NXT trainer.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
