WZ reader Jules Allen has sent in the following quote from the same podcast, featuring Taz speaking about CM Punk calling pro wrestling fake following his WWE departure:

“CM Punk, you get a gigantic pass, okay? You can say the f-word, you can call the business fake if you did [it]. If you choose to do that, that’s your prerogative.

In my view, if you went out and humped the road, paid your dues, busted your body up, you can call the business whatever you want. I might not agree with you. I might not agree with Punk or [Kevin] Nash if they feel like that. I would never publicly knock them for their comments. They’ve earned the right to call our business whatever they want to call it.”

Update on a Possible Season 2 of Lucha Underground

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted in the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Lucha Underground talents have been told they can accept indy bookings through the end of the year. This is a likely indication that season 2 of Lucha Underground, if it does happen, will not be happening until next year.
