Backstage News on Bayley’s Surging NXT Popularity

bayley WWE NXT Womens Champion Bayley’s stock continues to grow in WWE, as a long-time company employee recently told Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com that Bayley is “so ungodly over, especially with little girls, that if she were to start granting wishes through Make-A-Wish, she will destroy John Cena.”

Additionally, Bayley’s WWEShop.com t-shirt is currently the highest selling piece of Diva’s merchandise on the site.

Update on Bray Wyatt’s Sister’s WWE Tryout

As noted, Bray Wyatt’s sister Mika Rotunda recently had a WWE tryout at the Performance Center, and Ric Flair noted on a recent edition of his “WOOOOO! Nation” podcast that he was present during Rotunda’s tryout. Flair noted she was actually trying out to be a ring announcer for WWE and not a wrestler. Flair added he was impressed with Rotunda’s work, and would not be surprised if WWE brings her in.

Kanna Drops Japanese Title

Japanese wrestler Kanna, who we noted has signed a deal with WWE, dropped the REINA World Womens Championship this week, a title she won back in 2014. REINA also noted Kanna is leaving the promotion.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
