ABC Anchor Not a Fan of WWE and ESPN Relationship

As noted, ESPN has announced that a weekly WWE recap segment will air on SportsCenter at 9pm EST every Tuesday night.

Yesterday we noted that Forbes.com contributor Alfred Konuwa is a fan of the new relationship between WWE and ESPN, calling it a “game changer.”

However, as seen in the video below, one ABC anchor is not a fan of ESPN announcing a WWE segment, as he calls himself “old school SportsCenter” and says WWE “is not real.” ABC, like ESPN, is owned by Disney, and you can hear more of the anchor’s comments in the video below:

Who Does Becky Lynch Think is the Best Wrestler in the World?

WWE Diva Becky Lynch appeared on a recent edition of The Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, which you can listen to below. When asked who she thinks is the best wrestler in the world, Lynch had the following to say:

“Personally, I consider [Finn Balor] to be the best wrestler in the world. He is also one of my dearest friends as well, so it’s just awesome to have him around, just to have another person to bounce [ideas] off of. I’m so happy for him and being the NXT Champ and where he’s going to go is just to the moon and back. Being able to be in such close proximity to see everything that he’s about to do and everything that he [has] already done because the Bullet Club was all his invention and that’s so cool. So what he’s going to do here [in WWE] is going to be phenomenal.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
