Impact Wrestling
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA most likely chose POP TV as a home for Impact Wrestling because of a lack of options with another network.
The indication given was that WGN America, who was also rumored to be in talks with TNA, never made a serious offer, or they turned TNA down. WGN would’ve been a better fit for Impact Wrestling as they draw higher ratings and have a bigger profile.
