wwe live eventWWE Live “Holiday Tour” Results

December 5, 2015

Fayetteville, N.C. at Crown Coliseum

Report by PWTorch.com

The Crown is a small arena, but was less than three-quarters full with a crowd of roughly 2,000 on a Saturday night…

(1) Dolph Ziggler beat Tyler Breeze (w/Summer Rae) in the most physical and best match of the night. Ziggler won after finally hitting a superkick followed by the Zig-Zag. Summer Rae was sent to the back about halfway through.

(2) Braun Strowman beat Damien Sandow. Sandow came out to his old Hallelujah Chorus to a fairly positive reaction, despite him not being featured on TV lately. Sandow got in some offense before going out in Strowman’s triangle chokehold.

(3) Curtis Axel & Prime Time Players (Titus O’Neil & Darren Young) beat Los Matadores & Heath Slater, who came out to his old 3MB theme. Notably, Los Matadores did not deliver any high-flying offense. Big reaction for PTP, especially Titus, who pinned Heath with the Clash of the Titus.

(4) Kane beat Bray Wyatt (w/Erick Rowan). Both men received good reactions and worked a fairly solid match. Kane took out Rowan with a chokeslam before finally delivering one to Wyatt for the win.

(5) Becky Lynch & NXT Women’s champion Bayley beat Team B.A.D. (Sasha Banks & Naomi w/Tamina). Big reactions for all the women. Becky submitted Naomi to the armbreaker.

(6) Rusev (w/Lana) beat Neville. Good reaction for Neville and big heat for Rusev in a solid match. Rusev submitted Neville to The Accolade and re-applied the hold again, which brought out Ryback to a big response. Ryback hit the Meathook clothesline, followed by Neville delivering the Red Arrow.

(7) Dean Ambrose beat IC champion Kevin Owens via DQ; Owens retained the Intercontinental Title. Owens used a chair to cause the DQ. Owens received a good response, with Ambrose receiving the biggest reaction of the night. Much better and longer than their Survivor Series match.

Overall, it was a good show. Matches of Ziggler vs. Breeze, Kane vs. Wyatt, Rusev vs. Neville, and Ambrose vs. Owens stood out.
