AJ Styles Pulled From More NJPW World Tag League Events

aj stylesAJ Styles was once again pulled from New Japan Pro Wrestling’s World Tag League tour this weekend, as he is still attempting to heal up from a nagging herniated disc in his back. As a result, ROH announced that all of Styles’ scheduled World Tag League bouts were forfeited.

The last time Styles spoke out about his injury status he did maintain he will be competing at Ring of Honor’s Final Battle PPV on 12/18, at which he is scheduled to challenge Jay Lethal for the ROH World Title. As of this writing, there has been no announcement made regarding a change in Styles’ ROH status, so it appears as if he still plans on competing at the PPV. Styles is also scheduled to face Shinsuke Nakamura at the New Japan Wrestle Kingdom 10 event next month.
