ESPN’s WWE Off The Top Rope Recap; Roman Reigns Talks About His Title Win, 2016 Aspirations, Does He Worry About Repercussions From The McMahons?

Reigns joins the show and Coach recaps his year from winning the Royal Rumble, main eventing Wrestlemania and last night, and Reigns says it’s been crazy and he couldn’t predict all of this. He talks about the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia and the reaction to his win, but he turned things around and everything worked out and he got a great reaction. 

Coach says Reigns got cheered for spearing Triple H and Vince, but he wants to know if Reigns thought about what he actually did. Reigns says it’s a blur, but he’s just defending himself from whoever enters his ring, and he had enough and did what he had to. 

Coach brings up Reigns’ family heritage, and Reigns says they have quantity and quality in his family, which is very large. He tells some stories about always being competitive, but it’s good to be a father now and see his family continue to grow. 

Coach asks what 2016 looks like for Reigns, and he says he just wants to stay healthy. Reigns says his emergency hernia surgery surprised him, but he wants to worry about defending his title and staying in the ring.

Reigns then addresses his daughter, and says he loves her and it’s all for her, and he can’t wait to get home and celebrate with his title. He jokes that his daughter can pick where they go out to eat now, then Coach thanks him for joining the show.
