WWE Teasing John Cena vs. Undertaker?
WWE posted a video earlier this morning, on five big names they want to see face off against 15-time world champion John Cena in the new era. The list includes veteran wrestler Samoa Joe, New Japan enigma Shinsuke Nakamura, the “Demon King” Finn Balor, Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon, and interestingly enough, a match with the Undertaker at WrestleMania. A collision between Cena and Undertaker has been discussed for years now.
Shawn Michaels Returns For WWE Studios Film
Shawn Michaels is set to make his return to your television screens… just don’t expect him to be lacing up a pair of wrestling boots any time soon. The WWE Hall of Famer will have a role in the new Christian comedy drama, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, starring Brett Dalton (Agents of SHIELD) as a washed up celebrity serving out his court-mandated community service at a megachurch. The movie also features Neil Flynn, the star of ABC’s The Middle and the janitor from Scrubs.
The film is being produced by Vertical Church Films, which is the production team for the US-based non-denominational chain of churches in the Chicago area. WWE owns the distribution rights for the film, which is due out January 20, 2017.
