Speculation on WWE Roadblock Continuing the Trend of Declining Fan Interest in WWE PPVs, News on Poor Roadblock Attendance, More

The most recent issue of The Wrestling Observer, found at F4WOnline.com, speculates that this year’s WWE Roadblock PPV is continuing the trend of declining fan interest in WWE PPV events, likely due to the company holding two events per month.

The interest appeared stronger for Roadblock compared to WWE TLC this year, however Roadblock only generated 100,000 searches on Google, which is about half the usual level for a non big-four PPV. This year’s WWE TLC PPV didn’t even register in the Google search category.

Additionally, WWE Roadblock drew only 8,000 fans, which was seen as a disappointment considering WWE was selling two-for-one tickets the week of the event.
