AJ Styles was on Steven Crowder’s Louder With Crowder show last night to discuss several mainstream topics that include the recently aired Gillette commercial which stirred up controversy and Styles also gave his thoughts on toxic masculinity as well. Clips of the interview are below (h/t to David Bixenspan):
AJ Styles on Gilette: “I don’t think—I could be wrong—but there’s most men…aren’t the ones they were going for. I don’t know who they were going for, I don’t know who they were going after. I’m very confused by this commercial and what they were trying to tell me.” pic.twitter.com/ThFTaymQFj

AJ Styles, someone who clearly does not have a specific word in mind as he says this, on if “PC culture” encroaches on WWE: “There are some things that we cannot and will not say on the microphone, and you don’t want them to come after you." pic.twitter.com/3H7V6fsm05

In which AJ says WWE doesn’t “go far too left or right” so as not to alienate fans, which…seems true much of the time (no mentions of WWE HOFer as POTUS or ex-CEO in Cabinet), but…we’ll see how the XFL is marketed. pic.twitter.com/1iTON7m1uC
