Has Chris Jericho softened his stance on CM Punk since AEW All Out last year?
Back in October, it was reported that Chris Jericho and CM Punk got into it backstage at All Out following the altercation between Punk and The Elite, where Jericho referred to him as a locker room cancer.
There were also reports that stated Jericho told the locker room he would make sure that Punk would never return to All Elite Wrestling as long as he was around.
So were these reports inaccurate, or has something changed for The Ocho?
Last night on social media, a fan tweeted Jericho to praise his match with Punk at WrestleMania 28. The leader of the Jericho Appreciation Society responded with a very surprising statement, tweeting out:
“I always loved working with @CMPunk ….,” Chris Jericho said.
While it looks like Jericho might be fond of this past feud, it would be interesting to see if things have changed regarding Jericho’s feelings for Punk in recent months.
CM Punk tore his tricep in his match against Jon Moxley at AEW All Out and hasn’t been seen since. Despite rumors to the contrary, Punk is still under contract with All Elite Wrestling.
