Kazuchika Okada Set To Compete In Kurimu Nantara Miniskirt Athletics Show

Kazuchika Okada might leave New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He might go to WWE. He might go to AEW. There are several “what if” situations at hand for The Rainmaker.

One thing we do know, however, is that Okada will compete in the “Kurimu Nantara” Miniskirt Athletics show.

Okada will appear on the show on December 6. The Miniskirt Athletics show airs on Asahi.

From New Japan Pro-Wrestling:

Kazuchika Okada will participate in TV Asahi’s “Cream Nantara” miniskirt track and field 2023 winter, which will be broadcast from 23:45 on Wednesday, December 6th!

This is his second attempt, and he brings bodybuilder Naotaka Yokogawa and Indians Tabuchi to a showdown with a team of comedians led by Mr. Ueda!!

Look forward to seeing it on air!

Okada’s future

Kazuchika Okada will be a free agent in January 2024, according to a new report from Sports Illustrated‘s Justin Barrasso. Okada’s contract will expire at the end of January, and he is “seriously entertaining” wrestling for a new promotion.

It is expected that Okada would land in either WWE or AEW. Barrasso noted that Okada wants to continue living in Japan and considers that a priority. There’s already a precedent in AEW, as PAC still lives in England. Will Ospreay will also remain a UK resident when he starts working for the promotion next year.

Kazuchika Okada wrestled on Dynamite in October and his trip served multiple purposes. Okada not only got a chance to advance his feud with Bryan Danielson, but it also allowed him a chance to acquire a better sense of AEW operations.

Okada will face off with Danielson at Wrestle Kingdom 18 on January 4
