Seth Rollins Reveals Scrapped Plans For A Match At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Seth Rollins reveals he was initially scheduled to have a match on the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event in December.

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins was a recent guest on WFAN. When asked if he had any interest in taking on commentary following retirement like Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Rollins put Ventura over but believes commentary isn’t for him. Rollins also revealed that prior to Bronson Reed‘s injury, the two were planned to have a rubber match on Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“[Laughs] Commentary no, not so much,” Seth Rollins admitted. “I think Jesse is awesome, man; I was so bummed I wasn’t on the Saturday Night’s Main Event. I think I was on the books for a match for that show. Then my opponent this giant dude Bronson Reed, decided to jump off the top of a cage and snap his ankle. And so my match got scrapped.”

It’s unlikely that Reed will resume his rivalry with Rollins when he returns from his ankle injury later this year. Reed’s projected return date is unknown at this time but he is scheduled to miss WrestleMania 41.
