Missy Hyatt is coming to WrestleCon and she’s got some “interesting” items up for sale.
WrestleCon announced that Hyatt, known for her work in several different wrestling promotions including WCW, will be appearing at its WrestleMania week conventions this year. Hyatt will be there on Saturday, April 19. The convention listed several items for sale, including a package of Missy Hyatt Condoms.
For those interested, customers can acquire a set of four Missy Hyatt condoms for $20. There’s no word on what they look like, but Hyatt recently explained why she chose condoms to sell at her merchandise table.
“You always have to have interesting things on your gimmick table. I have no weed line or energy drinks to sell,” Hyatt wrote. “But I have my own condom line. I can’t neuter the world.”
7/25 – The walking riot Missy Hyatt will be with us Saturday from 10am-1pm. No pre-orders, but she will have lots of interesting items!

Wrestling-branded condoms are not a new trend, although they are a bit rare. WWF once attempted to market “Attitude Era” branded condoms, and Antonio Inoki also had a line of Japanese-branded rubbers.
During a past episode of his Strictly Business podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked about the most ridiculous pitch he took while serving as Senior Vice President of WCW. Bischoff said someone pitched WCW condoms, and explained why he wasn’t on board with it.
“Condoms. WCW-branded condoms. It didn’t go far. I mean it may have ended up that way [wrestler-specific] had we engaged in that conversation, but I did not engage in that conversation,” Bischoff said (via 411 Mania). “And it’s not because — look, you know, condoms are condoms, and it’s a consumer product, and it’s a credible, valuable product that’s out there in the marketplace. So nothing against condoms.”
“But you have to think about, what is the advertiser that’s coming up right after the condom commercial think about having their product being associated with wrestling, number one. And, ‘Oh yeah, we’re pitching rubbers too.’ Eh, you gotta think about that. You gotta think about the universe of advertisers you’re creating for your show and make sure they all feel comfortable.”
