WWE Raw Card:

WWE Raw Results:
The new Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena, walks to the ring wearing the championship backward. Cena asks the ring announcer to join him in the ring. The crowd boos as Cena hands the ring announcer a note to read. The ring announcer apologizes and explains that his announcement has been deemed disrespectful. Cena steps up and is given a longer, more exciting announcement. The crowd cheers, even though they are supposed to be booing. Cena notes that winners write history and tell the people they aren’t worthy. Cena reminds the crowd that they bullied him on Friday and expect him to forgive them today when he steps into this ring holding gold.
The crowd boos as Cena asks if this is how they would treat their wife or kids. Everyone here owes him an apology, but they don’t have the balls to do it. The crowd cheers. Cena dumps on the crowd. The crowd chants that they are sorry. The crowd chants that Cena is an a-hole. Cena rants about how the WWE Universe means nothing to him. The only thing that matters is this. Cena points to the ‘Tron, which says 36 dates. That’s all Cena has left, and it’s over. Not matches, appearances. Cena knows they will crown a new champion, but the title that was held by all the legends comes home with him.
Cena is the last real Undisputed Champion of WWE. Getting this was the hard part; keeping it will be easy. The best chance they had to save themselves was Cody Rhodes. The crowd boos. Cena calls them out for being hypocrites. Cena says there isn’t anyone in WWE who can touch him. The crowd boos. Cena tells everyone to take a picture because the last real champ is here. Cena turns around and sees Randy Orton standing there. Orton drops Cena with an RKO.
Grade: B+
John Cena was on the crowd’s neck from start to finish here. Cena will not let it happen, no matter how much they try to hijack the show and cheer for him. Cena has no interest in being the cool bad guy. You are going to boo him if he has to go out in the crowd and smack your momma. Cena winning the championship is the best play here as it set up so many interesting stories for Cena’s retirement tour; a case in point is the return of an old rival in Randy Orton. If you told this writer 10 years ago, he would be excited for a John Cena/Randy Orton feud in 2025…

After the match, Lynch helps Valkyria up and clotheslines her. Lynch screams at Valkyria and walks away. Lynch runs back into the ring and beats down Valkyria again. Valkyria eats three Manhandle Slams.
Grade: C+
Of all the matches to run back from WrestleMania, they chose this one. Considering the WrestleMania match was essentially a Raw match, it makes sense. This was better than the match from this week, which makes you wonder if this was the match they would initially have. The Lynch turn was not only telegraphed, it was forced. How many times are we going to see Lynch turn on someone in the same fashion? At this point, this is just lazy. One positive thing from this is that Valkyria will finally have an actual feud instead of just random matches.
It’s a New Day, Yes it Is!
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston announce themselves as the new tag team champions. Woods tells everyone to get down on their knees and say in unison, “Thank God for the New Day!” Kingston says no tag team, alive or dead, is better than the New Day. Alpha Academy interrupts. Maxxine Dupri challenges New Day to defend the tag titles against Otis and Tozawa. Dupri calls Woods and Kingston minute men. New Day agrees to the match. Before the match can start, the light goes out, and music hits. It’s the returning Rusev! Woods and Kingston roll out of the ring. Rusev runs over Otis with a lariat. Tozawa leaps into a slam. Rusev floors Otis with the Machka Kick. Rusev locks Otis in the Accolade.
Grade: B
Randy Orton is feuding with John Cena, and New Day are the tag champions. What year is it? It’s amazing that both of those things are way more exciting than they seem on paper. Tozawa and Otis are fun, but them challenging New Day was immediately underwhelming. Thankfully, today is RUSEV DAY! The Bulgarian Brute saved us from a title match no one wanted to see.
The SKY is the Limit
Women’s World Champion IYO SKY says she beat the best, so now she is the best. Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair tried to forget her, but now the people will never forget her. The NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer interrupts. Vaquer congratulates SKY, introduces herself to SKY, and says she is here to show SKY respect. Vaquer wants to face the best of the best. SKY agrees to do it right here, right now. Raw GM Adam Pearce walks out on the stage and asks the crowd if they want the match. Pearce books the match.

Winner- IYO SKY
After the match, Giulia appears in the ring as well and drops Vaquer with a kick. Giulia and Perez smile at each other and attack SKY and Vaquer. Rhea Ripley hits the ring and makes the save. Ripley hands SKY her championship and tells her she is coming for the title.
Grade: A
What a debut for Vaquer. This wasn’t a call-up, but it was a hell of a showcase. These two women delivered what may have been the best in-ring contest of the weekend on Monday Night Raw. Dispite the different levels each women are currently on, there were several points were it seemed Vaquer would win this. The work they put into this match made this writer totally suspend disbelief.
Read More: Report: More Details On Joe Hendry’s Shocking WWE WrestleMania 41 Match
No matter how fun the Randy Orton vs. Joe Hendry match was at WrestleMania, there was never a point where it seemed Hendry actually had a chance. That’s the difference. Also, including Giulia and Perez in this was genius. Perez has technically been on the main roster for months now, and despite challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship this week, she has laid the groundwork for issues with both IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley once that’s done.
Championship YEETING
The new World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso Yeets with the crowd to celebrate his title win. The crowd asks Jey to do it one more time. Jey’s music hits, and they Yeet together again. Not being at WrestleMania was hard on him. He almost didn’t come to LV, but Zayn had to be here to be the first person to tell Jey that he’s proud of him. Jey deserves the championship. Everyone knows it. Zayn says they are here to celebrate so hit Jey’s music. Jey and Zayn Yeet with the crowd. Zayn stands behind Jey like he’s going to attack him. Zayn hugs Jey again. Jimmy Uso joins them in the ring and they do their handshake before resuming the mass Yeeting.
Grade: B-
Jey is doing his best now to avoid getting blown up on the way to the ring between all the meetings. Making that entrance while carrying that heavy championship almost seems like a rib. That’s the real reason for the long pauses before getting his promos going. Jey was the right person to take the championship off of Gunther, whether the IWC likes it or not. This was a nice segment, but it went on a bit too long, and it got to the point that this writer was waiting for Jimmy or Zayn to toss Jey off the stage or something.
As the show starts back up, the former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is yelling at Michael Cole over his commentary. To Cole’s credit, he doesn’t back down. Pat McAfee steps in the way. Gunther pushes McAfee and tries to put Cole in the Rear Naked Choke. McAfee clubs Gunther from behind. Gunther locks McAfee in the choke. Referees and officials try to get Gunther to release the hold. Gunther has McAfee in the hold for an insane amount of time. McAfee turns beat red and passes out.
Grade: A+
… McAfee had that coming. Give Gunther all the championships.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) w/the Judgement Day vs. Penta
Mysterio tries a head stand, but Penta boots him in the gut. Mysterio stomps
Penta in the corner. Rana by Penta. Mysterio surprises Penta with a dropkick. Top rope crossbody by Penta. Mysterio rolls out of the ring. Tope by Penta. After the break, Penta gets a near fall. Penta catches a rana from Penta. Penta goes up top. JD McDonagh hops the barricade and pushes Penta off the top. Mysterio hits the 619 and a Frog Splash for the win.
Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio!
Grade: B
Fun match with a pleasant surprise ending. Captain Bobblehead’s return is a welcome one. No one bumps around the ring like JD McDonagh. Bálor is inching towards getting kicked out of The Judgement Day; it’s not a matter of if but of when.
The Revolutionary and The Traitor
The crowd sings Rollins’ song. Seth Rollins holds out his hand, and Paul Heyman places a microphone in it. The crowd boos Heyman. Rollins says he took a wise man from Roman Reigns and stole CM Punk’s best friend. He is the winner of the main event of WrestleMania. Before Rollins can finish, CM Punk’s music hits. Punk power walks to the ring while taping his fist. Rollins and Punk brawl. Heyman gets caught trying to sneak up on Punk. Punk acts like he’s going to hug Heyman, but he grabs him by the throat.
Rollins digs in Punk’s eyes. Stomp by Rollins. Heyman grabs a mic and declares Rollins the number-one star in WWE. Roman Reigns music hits. Reign runs down to the ring and Spears Rollins. Heyman is terrified. Reigns Superman Punches Heyman. Reigns sets up a Spear. Someone in a hoodie Spears Reigns first. It’s Bron Breakker! Punk gets in the ring. Breakker Spears Punk. Breakker Spears Reigns through the barricade. Rollins stomps Punk and Reigns again.
Grade: A
This segment solidified what the next year of WWE programming will be. Rollins is seemingly putting together his own version of The Sheild… or maybe it’s Evolution. Either way don’t be shocked if there isn’t a third person added to this mix.
WWE Raw Review:
This post-WrestleMania Raw delivered everything a night-after show should: surprises, new rivalries, fresh directions, and an absolute avalanche of storyline progression. John Cena kicked the show off with a red-hot heel promo that got under the crowd’s skin in the best way, and the return of Randy Orton as his next challenger is pitch-perfect storytelling and was the promo of the night. Match of the night was IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer. Those two tore the house down in a blistering clash that may go down as the match of the weekend. The Rusev surprise was a nice touch, but the Becky Lynch turn fell flat. When the show hit, it really hit. And even the slower segments carried narrative weight. WWE hit the reset button and set the tone for what should be an exciting new chapter.
